1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern accommodation and services provided by Actionofferway Alpine Lodge Limited (Company No. 4829157, NZBN 9429041234567), trading as Actionofferway, at 17 Brunswick Street, Queenstown 9300, New Zealand. By making a reservation or staying with us you accept these terms.

2. Reservations

• Reservation requests made through this website are enquiries, not confirmed bookings. A booking is confirmed only when we reply with written confirmation.
• No payment is taken through this website. A deposit may be requested directly by the hotel to secure peak-season dates.
• All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• Rates include breakfast and guests-only access to the Salon Noir.

3. Check-in, check-out and cancellation

• Check-in from 15:00; check-out by 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the arrival date. Later cancellations are charged one night's rate.
• No-shows are charged in full for the first night.
• Changes to confirmed bookings are handled by phone or email and confirmed in writing.

4. The Salon Noir — important terms

The Salon Noir is a casino-inspired social lounge for in-house guests. By using the salon you acknowledge and agree that:

• no real-money gambling, betting or wagering takes place at Actionofferway, in any form;
• no online gambling or gaming service is offered, promoted or facilitated by the hotel;
• all games are social entertainment only — chips, tokens and any table prizes carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit;
• salon access is reserved for registered in-house guests aged 18+ after 21:00, under New Zealand liquor licensing rules;
• guests who attempt to play for money will be asked to leave the salon.

5. House rules

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors; a sheltered area is provided in the courtyard.
• Quiet hours run 22:30–07:00 in guest corridors.
• Registered service animals are welcome; other pets by prior arrangement.
• Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay.
• The hotel is licensed premises — only alcohol purchased on site may be consumed in licensed areas.

6. Liability

We take every reasonable care with guests and their belongings, but we are not liable for loss, damage or injury except where caused by our negligence or required by New Zealand law. Valuables should be stored in your in-room safe or deposited at reception.

Activities arranged through our concierge — heli-hikes, cruises, vineyard tours, ski passes — are operated by independent third parties under their own terms and conditions.

7. Website use

• Content on this site is provided for information and reservation enquiries.
• We may update prices, descriptions and availability without notice.
• Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of gambling or online gaming services.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
